What is Wrong with My Numeric Keypad?

If your computer is operating with a Windows 10 version 20H2 or higher a firmware update is required to restore proper functionality to your numeric keypad.  Please follow the instructions below to install your KeyMaster® Keyboard update:
* No update is required for Mac or Chrome operating systems.

Option 1: Firmware update (permanently restores keypad functionality)

  1. Use USB cord to plug in KeyMaster® Keyboard to your computer
  2. Download the KeyMaster® Keyboard Firmware Upgrade.
  3. Open the file and follow the instructions to install the keymaster_software_update.exe file
  4. Test the numeric keypad on your keyboard to ensure that proper function of the numeric keypad has been restored.

 
Option 2: Quick Fix (will restore keypad functionality for current computer/user only)

  1. Use USB cord to plug in KeyMaster® Keyboard to your computer
  2. On the right hand side of your keyboard press   to pull up your on-screen keyboard.
  3. Click options, then check the box "Turn on Numeric Keypad", then press OK.
  4. On the on-screen keyboard press "NumLock", then close the on-screen keyboard.
  5. Your numeric keypad should now be working properly.

 

My Space Bar/Shift Key is not Working

Occasionally, the metal bar under the space bar or right shift key can come loose.  If this has occurred, you may notice these keys feeling loose, hard to press down, or not activating properly.  If you are experiencing any of these problems, you may be able to see a metal bar under the keys that has disconnected. To reconnect the support bar follow the steps shown on these videos:

What Operating Systems is the Keyboard Compatible with?

The KeyMaster® Keyboard is compatible with Windows OS, macOS, and Chrome operating systems

 

How do I turn on or off the lights on the keyboard?  

To turn on or off visibility of the key characters on the keypad, press the lights key labeled in white just above the top row of the keyboard.  Toggle this key to turn on or off visibility of the entire keyboard.

To turn off individual alpha or numeric keys on the keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt keys on the LEFT side of the keyboard, plus the key you would like to turn on or off.  For example, to turn on or off the J key, use the LEFT side of the keyboard to press Ctrl + Alt + J.  Note:  The Ctrl + Alt keys on the RIGHT side of the keyboard should be used for quick key commands, such as Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
